Elana's Rojo Amaranth

Eat the leaves in your salad mix at the small stage then this stunning red flowering giant will get over 6’ tall with 3’ seed heads in September. This early maturing amaranth, originally sourced from Salt Spring Seeds, was found in Guatemala and named after the indigenous farmer growing this rare Mayan variety.  Direct sow or transplant in May
