Evergreen Bunching Onion
$4.50Price
Allium fistulosum
Wonderful all-around bunching Onion. Evergreen does well in cool Spring soils and hot summers. This tried and true green onion never fails to produce tall straight greens with nice white bottoms. For the seed saver, I overwinter these in a protected environment like a hoop house and they begin to flower in early Spring. I love Allium flowers as they attract tons of native bees and other insects for pollination.
For earliest harvest sow indoors in February and transplant in clumps of 4 or 5 after last frost. Or direct sow ¼” deep and thin to 3”. Sow Spring and Summer for continuous harvest.
60 days to maturity
