Direct sow or transplant mid spring when soil has warmed. Harvest long, swaying seed heads in the fall.  This cool season early maturing variety grows 4’ tall. I love growing millet because of its gorgeous character as a plant and its unique origins. Millet originated from Africa, is a foundational piece of the African diet. It is now grown and enjoyed around the world.
