Wonderful new-to-me Romaine that does really well in cool Spring soils.  This has also become my go to Winger lettuce as it is the most cold hardy lettuce I grow.  Large heads with red tipped leaves are beautiful, crips and delicious.  Heirloom variety from England.  Worth  a try if you havn't already!  Direct seed or start indoors to transplant after last frost.  Sow seeds ¼” deep and lightly cover.  8” final spacing.
