Kale Club

Brassica oleracea

Kale Club is a mix of the four Kale’s I grow here at the farm.  They represent a nice range of leaf shapes- lance leafed lacinato and dazzling blue, ruffled Red Russian, and broad and smooth Wild Dreams Farm Kale.  Growing them together gives you both beauty and options.  Harvest young leaves to add to salad blends.  The diversity is beautiful and delicious.  Plant in Spring, Summer, and Fall for continuous harvests. 

Growing Kale

Direct seed or grow to transplant Kale Club any time after last frost up until mid September.  Germinates well in varied soil temperatures.  Space plants 12”-15” apart for full sized leaves, closer for baby leaf harvest.
