Lemon Queen is a tall, regal, light yellow beauty of a sunflower!  They grow up to 8-10 feet with minimal side branching.  They branch at the top and each large stem has multiple blooms.  Flowers are large at over one foot across!  They form a nice hedge or integrate well into the vegetable garden

Sunflower growing instructions

Sunflowers grow quickly and easily from direct sowing or transplants.  They prefer warm soils and grow quickly when Spring temperatures begin to rise.  Sow in the ground 3 weeks after your last frost. Sow indoors to transplant around your last frost date- they will germinate and be ready to set out quickly.   Space 12”-18” apart.
