Mustard Mix

This mix contains both mild and spicy mustard greens to eat fresh and/or cooked.  Oak Fire, Ruby Streaks Ultraviolet Mustards, Mizuna, and Tatsoi go together well or can be added to other greens mixes if you prefer.  The variety of leaf shapes and colors make it striking to look at as well.  

Growing Mustard Greens

Direct Sow seeds after last frost.  Seeds will germinate quickly. Thin to one plant every 2”-4” for baby leaves and 8”-10” for full grown leaf harvest.  This mix can also be started indoors to transplant out after last frost..  I sow 3-5 seeds together and plant in plugs about 6” apart.  I get a good diversity of varieties and the leaves stay smaller.  

Seed continuously in April, May, and June for fresh greens all Summer.
