Purple and Green Tomatillo

Physalis ixocarpa

This tomatillo is striking in color and vigor and has delicious flavor.  The amount of purple color will depend on the amount of sun the plants are exposed to so expect some to be green as well. Perfect for salsa verde!  Prefers full sun and has a sprawling growth habit.  Exuberant plants want to grow! 

Start seeds indoors to transplant or direct sow after last frost.
