Winter Density Lettuce

A tight compact romaine head lettuce suitable for any season but holds well into the fall and winter under cover or in a cloche.  If you are going for a baby head of Romain give Winter Density a try!  I harvest leaves and heads all winter long from my hoop house. Tastes crisp, crunchy and green!  Sow in Spring but optimally in early September for fall and winter harvests.
